an elf in action

jeg skrev den her eng stil i 9klasse og var ret glad for den så nu smider jeg den lige her ud.

It was a beautiful day with no wind at all, the snow were falling down slowly, glittering in the cold light of the moon. A polar bear woke op too early from its winter lair, and went for a walk in the minus 50 degrees winter day. Here on the North Pole Santa’s house and toy factory lay. Santa’s house was made of wood and had a constant layer of snow on the roof. The factory on the other hand was made of steel and was equipped with the newest machinery for toy production.
Jim was an elf and was leaning up against his giant candy stick; which was the standard for all the elf guards. Jim had been thrilled when he got appointed to be Santa jr. personal bodyguard. He was only 1287 years old and the youngest bodyguard in the Santa family history. However he soon learned that it wasn’t that exiting. Santa jr. did nothing all day but playing ‘Christmas havoc’ on his ‘Santa box’. Santa jr. was quite tall, slim and acted like he owned the place. Jim started to get sleepy; he always did when it got boring on the job. Suddenly the door burst open, and Santa came in. Jim acted quickly by suddenly looking very awake and clear minded. ‘Junior’ roared Santa through his big white beard. ‘I’m right here dad, no need for shouting’ jr. responded without taking his eye of the screen. ‘You got to act like a leader! Or the workers will never respect you.’ Santa said clapping his hand on his belly. Santa jr. looked up, ‘I don’t care about Christmas OR the stupid workers I just want to…’ what Jr. just wanted Jim never found out, cause Jr. was cut of by an explosion that blew a hole in the wall. Five gnomes jumped through the hole, 2 of the gnomes grabbed Santa Jr. while the last 3 kept Jim away with their swords. Suddenly like on a single command they jumped through the hole and were gone. ‘What happened’ Santa asked from his hideout under the desk. ‘Jr. got kidnapped by the gnomes.’ Jim said after checking that there were no more gnomes. ‘Probably on there leader: Captain Quark’s order’ Santa looked devastated at first but after a little while he pulled himself together and said: ‘you got to save him. He was your responsibility.’
‘WHAT!! You got to be kidding me! Its Christmas tomorrow that means I got a day off.’
‘I DON’T CARE’ Roared Santa. ‘Go to the basement and get your equipment!’ Jim bowed and left.
20 minutes after Jim was ridding on a rented reindeer towards Mexico were Captain quark was living. When Jim got to the ocean he ordered his reindeer to take off, it jumped a few times and then they left the ground and flew over the ocean.
2 hours later.
Jim parked his reindeer and made sure he had all his equipment: The grabbling hook disquiets as a mistletoe, a present bomb, his air/water/ground snowboard, the giant ninja candy stick and a pudding mine. It was a dark night and a thunderstorm was tearing the land apart. In a flash from a lightning Jim saw what he was about to enter: A giant fortress that is what it was, armed guards patrolling the wall, giant spot light and gnomes hiding in the shadow. Jim got on his snowboard, turned on the rocket engine and flew upwards. A single guard on the wall spotted Jim but before he could raise the alarm he had been knocked unconscious by a candy stick, which was thrown from 10feet above. Jim landed on the wall, packed his snowboard into his rucksack and picked op his candy stick before pressing on ahead. He jumped into the inner courtyard and went through a door leading into a beautiful hall. In the hall there were 2 people: a gnome and Santa jr.! Jim was just about to storm into the hall when a third person entered the room; Captain Quark!
‘I hope you are enjoying your stay’ Quark said and sat down on a big throne. Quark was a big man with a giant chest, strong arms, small legs and only 3 giant fingers on each hand. ‘What do you want from me?’ Asked Santa Jr. his voice trembling. ‘Its not a question of what you can do for me but what I can do for you.’ Quark leaned forward so that his green superman like bodysuit creaked. ‘I… eh… what?’ Quark smiled ‘I have heard that you are not very fond of Christmas, and to tell the true neither am I. So this is where we stand: if you tell me how to get into Santa’s toy factory, so I can blow it up I will give you more gold than you can imagine. If you chose not to talk I will kill you. So what do you say?’
‘Santa jr. will never betray his father’ Jim thought.
‘Deal’ said Santa jr. Jim was devastated jr. had betrayed them how could he? This had to end. Before Quark could react Jim had shoot his Grabbling hook around a pipe in the sealing and swung him self through the room and knocked the gnome out cold.
‘Oh, if it isn’t Jim. The youngest bodyguard in the history of the family Santa, did you come to save jr. here? As you see he don’t want to be saved.’ Quark said smiling.
‘Yes go home Jim’ said Santa Jr.
‘No way. I never fail a job, and my job is to get you home and do Quark in.’ Jim said drawing his candy stick.
‘Then try Jim. I’m right here ready to be taken down.’ Quark laughed, and then in a spilt second he had drawn his laser gun and fired 2 shuts. Jim only just had time to take cover behind a statue of a phoenix.
‘Like the phoenix rises from its own aches, the Quark holyday will rise from the aches of Christmas. Are you ready to die Jim?’ Quark shouted.
‘It will be you who die today’ Jim replied. Captain Quark walked over to the statue but when he got to the back of Jim was gone. Suddenly the grabble hook wrapped itself around his leg and flung him upwards, Quark dropt his laser gun and was now defenceless.
‘Looks like I’m not failing my job today either’ Jim said from the top of the phoenix just before he jumped out and landed a perfect hit that broke Quark neck. Jim landed hard on the ground and saw that Santa jr. was still sitting in the chair paralysed by fear. Jim ripped of some curtains and used them to bind jr. since he had shown how loyal he was Jim had no intensions of trusting him, Jim threw him over the shoulder and ran for it. In the courtyard the bridge was up so Jim saw no other way out than to blow a hole in the wall with his present bomb. When the guard’s saw what was going on they left their positions and stormed after Jim, but Jim had already jumped through the hole and dropped the pudding mine in the hole. Jim heard the mine go off and stormed back to the reindeer. As he got to it he threw Santa jr. on the back of the reindeer and took of. It had been a long day; kidnapping, rescue mission, battle and escape. Santa would have to deal with jr. when they got back, because Jim was going to take a well-deserved day of.
